Last night was the 88th Oscar Awards and there was so much controversy surrounding the big night.
Did you watch?
The Academy didn’t have a choice but to tackle the controversy head on. Chris Rock opened with a monolague about the lack of black actors in film. The audience chuckled and in a stark contrast got uncomfortably quiet on several occasions.
And then Stacey Dash walked out…you could hear a pin drop.
The truth is I’m knee deep in meal plans, lesson plans, business plans and travel plans so let’s just say that I haven’t been to the movies lately.
That’s why catching up on movies at home is so convenient and so my speed. Amazon.com has numerous titles available both for rent and for purchase. And if you have Amazon Prime, things are even sweeter. Thousands of current and past movie nominees are already included for streaming with membership.
As a matter of fact, Amazon is offering 30-day trials of Amazon Prime.
Membership to Amazon Prime also includes FREE 2 day shipping and ad-free music streaming of millions of songs. Nothing annoys me more than when I am in the groove and get interrupted with an ad about adult diapers.
So who were last night’s big wins? The biggest win by far was Mad Max: Fury Road.
