Oscar Hits & Misses: Movies to Watch

Last night was the 88th Oscar Awards and there was so much controversy surrounding the big night.

The Academy didn’t have a choice but to tackle the controversy head on. Chris Rock opened with a monolague about the lack of black actors in film.  The audience chuckled and in a stark contrast got uncomfortably quiet on several occasions.

And then Stacey Dash walked out…you could hear a pin drop.

The truth is I’m knee deep in meal plans, lesson plans, business plans and travel plans so let’s just say that I haven’t been to the movies lately.
