3 Companies that Give Back for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

It’s October and that means we are recognizing breast cancer awareness month. It’s actually a cause I wish we didn’t have to recognize. Why? It’s because so many mothers, daughters, wives, friends, aunts, grandmothers and other loved ones have fought this hard battle. Some have won and then won again.

Others, we pause to remember. We remember their strength. We remember their courage. We remember their fight. One dear friend in particular gives me pause as I write this. I hate that for her birthday just 3 days ago, the chemotherapy treatments made her so sick that she probably didn’t even have a slice of cake to celebrate.

I hate that the hair that she once styled so freely is fading from view again. I HATE CANCER! But I like I said, she is strong. She is courageous. She is beautiful. She is a fighter!

I think about her. I think about you. I think about us as I read that there are 231,840 new cases of invasive breast cancer in the United States every year.

In support of Breast Cancer Research, here are three companies that are giving back for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Clarks

For each pair of these fuzzy soles, Clarks is donating $11 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Estée Lauder and Elizabeth Hurley Dream Lipstick Pink Collection

This Elizabeth Hurley Dream Lipstick collection offers 3 lipsticks in gorgeous pink hues. The best part? Twenty percent of the purchase price of this lipstick suite goes to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation until June 2016.

Lands’End

Lands’End is doing something special for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. If you add a pink monogram or icon to any of their items, 75% of the personalization fee will go directly to support breast cancer research. That’s pretty cool right? I think so too.
